On May 19, 2023, Child Creativity Lab kicked off its next decade of inspiring the next generation of leaders & innovators across Orange County.
A record-breaking event!
Child Creativity Lab raised a record $105,000 at our annual fundraising gala - which was hosted on the rooftop terrace of longtime corporate partner Hyundai Capital America and emceed by KTLA meteorologist Henry DiCarlo. Child Creativity Lab was honored by US Representative Young Kim’s office for our outstanding leadership and dedication to the children of Orange County. It was a wonderful evening spent looking forward to our future success in our commitment to the communities we serve.
The evening's honorees were Carol Stone, Hyundai Capital America and Professional Plastics. Stone, a former CCL Board Chair and longtime leader in Orange County's nonprofit sector, was recognized with the Visionary Award for architecting CCL's structure and success. Hyundai Capital America was honored as CCL's Corporate Partner of the Year for its longtime generosity and support that has impacted thousands of Orange County students. Professional Plastics was named Material Partner of the Year for donating items used in nearly every one of the thousands of STEAM Challenge Kits CCL provides to schools and organizations annually.
CCL is so excited for what the next ten years will bring as we continue to inspire the next generation of critical thinkers, innovators, problem solvers and leaders. Thank you for joining us on our mission to make sure that every child in Orange County is ready to change the world!
