"Re-Launch Into Creativity" Re-visited

Re-Launch Pic

We have so many people to thank for making the "Re-Launch Into Creativity" community kick-off event happen this past Thursday. The afternoon event that was held at The Eureka Building in Irvine attracted a host of leaders and administrators from organizations all throughout Orange County, including the following, that will be important partners for the Child Creativity Lab going forward:

• Orange County Head Start
• Children and Families Commission of Orange County
• Orange County Department of Education
• Orange County Association for the Education of Young Children
• Orange Children & Parents Together
• Junior League of Orange County
• Garden Grove Unified School District
• University of California, Irvine
• Santa Ana College
• Santiago Community College
• Santa Ana Public Library
• Fullerton School District
• Future Leaders of Orange County
• Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach
• Chuck Jones Center for Creativity
• Pretend City Children’s Museum
• Merrill Lynch
• Deloitte Consulting
• Orrick
• Orange County Business Council
• Lakeshore Learning
• Art Supply Warehouse

Our sincere gratitude starts with the wonderful volunteers that graciously gave up their time and brought great energy and smiles for all of the guests. Thanks to the Junior League of Orange County, Khol's Rancho Santa Margarita Associates in Action team, Kirk Tsai (UCI MBA), Joe Valdez (UCI Student), our volunteer interns Di and Cheryl, and of course, our ever-supporting family and friends that came to help.

Big thanks to our event sponsors. Eureka Building (w/ special shout out to Taylor Kirk), The Euro Caffe, Santa Margarita Ford, and the Orange County Association for the Education of Young Children. We literally couldn't have done this without your support.

We had a number of community supporters that provided critical in-kind donations, including the Home Depot Foundation, the Art Supply Warehouse, DJ Eko, Vocademy, Trevor Ali Graphics, and the Long Beach Depot for Creative Reuse.

Finally, we'd like to thank our advisory board and event committee board for all of their help. Specifically, Chantal Lamourelle and Anthony Eisenman, from our event committee, brought a lot of great ideas, passion, and hours in the planning of the event during the past three months. Much love!

More pics and other stuff from the event to follow!
