Our own Chantal Lamourelle (friend, First 40 Member and consultant to the CCL) will be taking part in the STEAM Carnival Demonstration Stage to share more about what the Child Creativity Lab is all about, the value and need for us to be creative in our daily lives, and how we can immediately begin to increase our âCreative Intelligence.â
Check out the STEAM Carnival if you haven't heard of it! The STEAM Carnival will bring a unique, high energy celebration of tech-infused game attractions carnival-style designed to inspire young minds in science, technology, engineering, art, and math.
The Demonstration Stage Program will take place on Saturday, Oct. 25 at the Port of Los Angeles - 112 E 22nd St. #10, Los Angeles, CA 90731. Chantal will be on at 4:30pm!

Chantal Lamourelle has been working in Early Childhood Education for over 25 years. She holds a Master Degree in Early Childhood Education Administration and a Bachelor Degree in Sociology. Chantal is currently the State Board representative for the California Association for the Education of Young Children (CAEYC) in Region 6 (Orange County, Inland Empire, San Bernardino, San Diego), the Vice President of Membership for the Orange County Association for the
Education of Young Children (OCAEYC), and an appointed member for the Orange
County Child Care & Development Planning Council.
Her vast experience includes the following: Director of Education at Pretend City Childrenâs Museum, Director for Project REACH at California State University-Long Beach, Preschool Teacher and Director in her family-owned child care centers serving infants to school age children, and Adjunct Child & Human Development Professor at Cal State University-Fullerton, Long Beach City College and Santa Ana College.
