Together, we can make sure that kids never lose their confidence and ability to be creative.

How can I help?

AS YOU THINK ABOUT YOUR ANNUAL CHARITABLE GIVING, PLEASE CONSIDER THE CHILD CREATIVITY LAB

In 2016, the organization served over 13,000 children through our hands-on programs, most of which reside in low-income communities; distributed 50 materials scholarships to provide FREE access to our reusable materials resource center to schools, educators, and other programs serving low-income and other at-risk children; provided professional development training to approximately 450 educators; all while diverting 11,081 pounds of reclaimed materials from our precious landfills.

WHAT'S NEXT FOR 2017?

Our objectives for 2017: To deliver 29,480 Creative Challenge Project experiences to 14,000 Title 1 low-income and other high-need children in Orange County. Each child receives a “tool kit” that we have repurposed and assembled from reclaimed and reusable materials procured from businesses and individuals - materials that would otherwise fill our precious landfills. As part of the program, we additionally provide full 1-year Child Creativity Lab Materials Memberships for each teacher in the participating classrooms. This entitles each teacher access to additional materials of their choosing, including access to 14 unique Tool Kits and continued exploration of creativity in each of their classrooms. They also have opportunities to attend demonstration Open Houses and other special events in the Lab Depot.

IN ORDER TO DO THIS, WE NEED YOUR HELP

$10 puts a STEM education kit into the hands of a 3rd grader; $150 allows us to provide a hands-on educational workshop for 25 low-income children; $250 lets us distribute a materials scholarship to a school for much-needed classroom supplies.

Please consider a donation to ensure our children have the skills they need to succeed in the competitive 21st century.
